It’s been a few years since we’ve tested a Nikon DSLR but when the D850 was released it immediately caught my eye. Finally we got a unit for testing and so far it’s as good as everyone says. We will publish a video review soon but for now you can watch a video captured in Frankfurt’s newly built Old Town in 4K.
The D850 has a flat picture profile that I adjusted to make it as flat as possible. The 2160p footage was cropped to a 2.35:1 aspect ratio in Premiere Pro CC and graded using Lumetri.
